AIS Egypt is a member of the Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL) group of schools. We offer a comprehensive, Kindergarten-Grade 12, co-educational, college preparatory, day school program. Our 1,100 students celebrate cultural diversity while proudly representing over 30 nationalities. |

| ESOL Mission Statement |
ESOL’s mission is to educate its students in
the finest tradition of American or British education, while
incorporating the strengths of our students’ own cultures. Our
schools’ goal is to develop our students’ basic skills and their
capacities for critical thinking and creativity. In addition to
cultivating a passion for learning we aim to promote our students’
all around development, their character and their own sense of civic
responsibility.
ESOL is committed to making each of its schools
a center of educational excellence, offering its students the
fullest opportunity to attain their maximum growth in a positive,
enjoyable, stimulating and safe environment that is conducive to
their intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development.
Thus our curriculum commitments complements core subjects like
English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences with equally
strong programs in Physical Education, Fine Arts, Computers and
Second Languages.
Graduates of ESOL schools possess all the tools
of success in an increasingly integrated world. As humanity’s
collective body of knowledge continues to grow at an exponential
rate, ESOL gives its students the skills they need to solve the
problems of the future. As clear and critical thinkers with a
working knowledge of technology, ESOL’s graduates are certain to

Our Academic Program

The AIS Egypt academic program is based on an international model which draws heavily from the best of American methodology, pedagogy, and educational philosophy. It
is a rigorous and demanding program. We believe that our responsibility goes beyond simply challenging our students and, therefore, we provide individual support and attention to assure that all students succeed. |

IB and/or AIS Egypt Diploma |
AISE high school students may choose to pursue the world-recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma and/or the AISE Diploma. Our IB Diploma examination scores are significantly above worldwide averages. Our graduates, 100% of whom go on to higher education, are sought after by leading universities in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East.

Co Curricular Activities |
A wide range of extra and co-curricular programs is offered including:
- Students’ council, community service clubs and National Honors Society chapter
- intramural and inter-scholastic sports,
- drama, choir, instrumental music,
- Model United Nations (AISE hosts a large, annual MUN Conference as well as participating in the MUN, Hague, Netherlands),
- yearbook, and others as interest demands.

Our Campus |
The AISE campus, a beautiful new facility that was completed during the summer of 2005, is located in New Cairo City in an area of exclusive development. We are approximately 20 minutes from Maadi and Heliopolis by car. |

Our Facilities
|
Situated on approximately 15 landscaped acres, the state-of-the-art facility includes:
- fully-networked classrooms,
- air conditioning,
- multiple computer laboratories for teaching and on-line research,
- large elementary, middle and high school libraries,
- well equipped biology, chemistry, physics, and physical science laboratories,
- a 600 seat theater/auditorium,
- an Olympic-sized swimming pool,
- a large gymnasium with two-full basketball courts, tennis courts,
- and a cushioned running track circling an Olympic-sized soccer pitch.

Our Faculty |
The three academic divisions, elementary, middle and high school, are staffed by university graduates (approximately 50% of whom hold advanced degrees) who are certified and experienced North American teachers who have undergone a rigorous selection process at recruitment centers in the United States and Canada.

AISE is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization, and a member of the European Council of International Schools, the Council of International Schools, the Near East/South Asia Council of Overseas Schools, the Mediterranean Association of International Schools, and the Association for the Advancement of International Education.
