Primary School
Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year!
I am honored to join American International School in Egypt as your new primary principal. As we embark on a new academic year, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all our students and families, both returning and new, to AIS Egypt Main Campus. It is with great anticipation that we begin this learning journey together, with a shared commitment to educational excellence and personal growth.
I’m confident that under the care of the faculty and staff, AIS Egypt will continue to thrive and provide an exceptional educational experience for all our students. This year, we will continue to foster a safe and caring culture of inclusion, collaboration, and respect within our school community. We believe in the power of teamwork and the significance of a strong partnership between home and school. I encourage you to actively engage in your child’s education, maintain open lines of communication, and participate in school activities and events whenever possible. Together, we can provide the support and guidance our students need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As I begin my tenure with AIS Egypt, we are starting our final year on this campus with a strong tradition of excellence, and we are looking towards the next chapter for AIS Egypt. Our futures hold great promise as we provide a holistic education that encourages high standards of academic achievement, meaningful collaboration, and personal development while supporting the unique needs of each learner. Even our youngest learners are already surrounded in a culture that fosters the qualities from our Portrait of a Graduate.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or suggestions. We value your feedback and are committed to continuous improvement.
This is going to be a great year to learn and grow.
Sincerely,
Dr. Richard Tapajna
Primary School Principal
Primary School Handbook
This Parent and Student Handbook is AIS Egypt's Elementary School policy manual for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents and students should be aware of its contents. When students understand expectations, they are more likely to succeed, and we want all of our students to succeed.
