Information For New Families

School-wide orientation will be on 28 and 29 August, 2024.

First week: Transition Week

• Parent orientation on Sunday, September 1, 2024
• Two parent groups in each class in 2 sessions
• Late start (8.30 a.m.) on the first day, Monday, September 2, 2024
• Early dismissal from Monday to Thursday (2 - 5 September). Dismissal 1 - 1.15 p.m.
• Normal school day starting Sunday, September 8, 2024

Bella Donna and Kamy are the authorized vendors.
The uniform shop opens from Sundays to Thursdays at 10 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.

Our school buses' route covers a large area of Giza and Cairo, from the Sherouk City, to Zamalek, Mohandsein and Dokki.

AIS is an Apple Ecosystem, as Apple devices are designed best for learning, are most resistant
to viruses, and are the best way to protect student data. Therefore, in Grade 3, 4 and 5 students
will be required to come to school each day with an iPad with keyboard attachment that meets
the following specifications:

● 9.7inch screen or greater ( iPad Air 2 or Later )
● iPadOS 13 or Later
● Must be able to connect to a keyboard
● 32 GB of storage (minimum)
● Physical protection (Case & Screen Protector)

Commitment to Safety and Quality 
Our food vendors are committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. They are subject to routine inspection and certification by local health authorities, the School Administration, and third-party hygiene inspectors.

Special Dietary Requirements

We acknowledge that certain students may have particular dietary needs. Requests for free-of-allergies, lactose-free, and other special diet meals are accommodated by our vendors. To address any particular requirements your child may have, please reach out to the school administration at oomar@aisegypt.com.

Payment and Ordering/Cashless Pay System

The cashless payment system has become a global trend. AIS Main Campus made a significant investment in this transformation to offer a digitalized service that enables families and students to monitor consumption and charge their accounts online.
 

The Spare mobile application enables users to purchase meals online. Payments can be made securely online, and pre-payment arrangements are available to facilitate the process for families purchasing meals.
