The Early Childhood Center believes in educating the whole child.

All of our teacher engage students, motivate students, and encourage them to take risks. In addition, the teachers cater to many learning styles so that every child reaches his or her full potential. Many different strategies are used to elicit information from these students. Our teachers go above and beyond to give students something special. In Early Childhood, we use play-based instruction to teach our children. We have many hands-on resources that enhance the learning experience.

Our Early Childhood Center has two levels of classes Kindergarten KG1 and KG2. The core curriculum, namely Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science, is complemented by specialist classes in Music, Art, Physical Education and Library. In addition, KGII has computer class and computers are available to all students as well as Arabic studies.

+ A Day in the Life of KG1

AIS's KG1 program is a full-day of dynamic learning. Their day begins at 8 a.m. and they dismiss with the rest of the student body at 3 pm each day. There is bus transportation available to KG1 students. Students come in full uniform each day including athletics shoes. Healthy food is extremely important as KG1 students need a lot of energy to make it through a fast-paced day. They are expected to bring a snack and lunch. There is a short rest time each day. KG1 students are expected to be fully potty trained and require no assistance to stay clean in the bathroom. In addition to their core learning, KG1 students attend many separate classes each week, including art, music, P.E., library, and Arabic. There is never, ever a boring day in KG1!
