American International School of Egypt - East Campus

Welcome to the Grade 2 program at AISE! We are glad to have you here.

In our second grade program, we are proud to host over 100 students from around the world.

Our teaching team works hard to nurture a creative and thriving environment for our students. We do this by employing current teaching practices and following successful educational trends from around the world. We follow an American curriculum and focus on creating inquiry-based activities to help our students question, wonder, and grow.

Being located in the amazing country of Egypt, we are surrounded by examples of history unmatched anywhere else on the planet. The teaching of Arabic language and culture is an important element of our taught curriculum, helping develop an understanding of the community and culture in which we live.

Our well-balanced program allows students to receive instruction in core subjects: specialist teachers teach Arabic language, our elementary counselor teaches Character Education, and qualified specialist teachers teach Technology, Music, Library, and Physical Education.

For additional support, we offer counseling, learning support, reading and ELL teachers for students.

We believe that social and physical skills are as important as academic skills, and our program builds upon that belief through active participation and character development classes. If we aren't in our classrooms, you can find us using our environment as a regular extension of the classroom. Learning extends far beyond the walls of our building.

We celebrate the differences that make us all unique individuals, and we believe that our second grade students will change the world.
